Film Review: Fighting With My Family

Sports movies are generally pretty good, WWE films are rarely good. Luckily for Stephen Merchant’s first solo feature directing effort he manages to apply what’s great about sports movie to the WWE world.

An underdog story to the very end Fighting With My Family delivers big laughs, big heart and big drama. I had such a good time exploring the characters lives and seeing what their particular slice of life was like.

And it’s really the characters that makes this film, specifically the amazing casting. Florence Pugh, Lena Headey, Jack Lowden, Vince Vaughn, Nick Frost and Dwayne Johnson all kill it and really make the film a worthwhile watch.

If you like sports films, British comedy/dramas or wrestling then this is a film for you:
